Report Published: “Collaboration on Endogenous Development and Institutionalization of Mathematics Curriculum in Africa”
We are pleased to announce the publication of the final report for the project “Collaboration on Endogenous Development and Institutionalization of Mathematics Curriculum in Africa.” This collaborative research, conducted jointly with the University of Zambia, explores approaches to strengthening the endogenous development and institutionalization of mathematics curricula in African contexts. The project examines how locally grounded curriculum development can be fostered through collaborative research, field-based studies, and academic exchange. By focusing on Zambia as a core case, the study aims to contribute to sustainable capacity development in mathematics education and to provide insights that may be applicable across the broader African region. The full report in Japanese is now available on our website. The English version will be shortly on our website as well. We hope that the findings will serve as a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners working to advance mathematics education and curriculum reform in Africa.
